The seemingly underground environment in this immediately reminded me of your Night in the Forest of the Blue Gates work. This, however, feels decidedly warmer and a little friendlier (or maybe "less hostile" is a better way of putting it).
Thanks for catching the Night in the Forest correlation there. :-) Another view of some other abandoned section of the Underworld. I may not ever find my way out, but maybe this map will help someone else.
Yes on the warmer and less dark as well. You can definitely see more of what is around you here than in The Forest, but the light only reveals rusting death.
I agree on the "less hostile". In this one, the damage has already been done.
