Continued From
As difficult as 2012 has been, there have been several positive developments within Zombie Bites and beyond. July and August brought a collaboration with the Horror Blogger Alliance curator Jeremy Hawkins, aka Retro-Zombie, to create the 2012 designs for the HBA Tshirts. Also this year I finally realized a vision that I have been working towards since I began revitalizing Zombie Bites: The Weekly Featured Creature. I've had the idea since I began this blog, but circumstances and opportunity haven't coincided until this year. I'm just pleased that the creatures have been so well received. My number of page views has nearly doubled since the Featured Creature began! Thanks to everyone for your interest and support!
Looking into 2013, I'm hoping to expand into several new areas. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will hint as I can. I am hoping to add something to the weekly line up along the lines of The Featured Creature, but a little more expansive. I can't really say any more than that at this point, but I promise to exploit when I can. Also, just before Halloween 2012, five trick or treating zombies went undocumented in the 2012 Halloween Zombie Outbreak. They've been lurking in the darkness for some time and we have not seen the last of them. Certainly there will be more zombies for 2013 as the outbreak continues and I've got a new angle for the living dead that I hope will be interesting. Mondays and Fridays will continue to host new dark abstract pieces, things will continue to crawl out From the Archives every Wednesday, and Tuesday will remain the home of The Featured Creature for the foreseeable future.
I would also like to take a moment to thank Jeremy over at Horror Blogger Alliance and Vincent with Fuzzy Skeletonian. These guys have been very supportive of me and Zombie Bites this year. Thanks Guys!
Below are some highlights of the artwork I've posted to Zombie Bites over the second half of the 2012 year. Each image links to the weekly archive of its posting, to the series it was a part of, or to the topic it was posted under.

Thank you for these Last Bites recaps. It's been nice to catch up on what I missed and revisit the works I didn't.
I have to say that your output (quantity AND quality) this year as been phenomenal! I hope the momentum carries you through 2013 and beyond : D
Thanks Vincent! I really appreciate the well wishes. :-) I've felt pretty beat up the past couple of months by my circumstances and am only just beginning to feel even remotely normal. My horoscopes indicate a less heavy year than the past two with a few positive trends beginning, so I'm setting my hopes higher. :-)
This year has been so hectic, I feel like I've missed a few pieces in the rush. This last week I got super reflective about everything and realized that besides the Featured Creature page, I haven't really collected any of my other work together in one spot for viewing and comparison. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-) Thanks Again!
